Flashback Friday
Me and Jack, circa 1991(?), resting in the shade during Culbertson trail ride. 3 days on your horse out in the middle of Montana is something that very few things can rival.

Tagged!
McMiller PDX tagged me. Here are the rules: go to the fourth folder in your photos and pick the fourth photo in that album and post it.

This is a photo attempt to try to capture the entire 28 inches of Miss Eely Eelerton.
Who to tag.. who to tag.... John and Mrs. Snack.

A better mousetrap?
Yesterday, I was quickly vacuuming and put the hose under a bookcase to get all the rogue feathers from costume crafting.. I heard a "thwuck." shit. I turned off the vacuum and looked in the hose to find myself eye to eye with Sparkle Mouse. Sparkle Mouse is a cat toy to whom I glued a fancy sequin tail, since Little Burlesque Kitty seems to prefer things of the sparkly nature. Stupid Sparkle Mouse was stuck in there just out of reach, and stuck good. I tried everything I could think of that we had on hand and finally had to give up and go to the store and get super long tweezers. There was only one pair left at Freddies, so maybe I'm not the only one who has had this problem?!?
But they worked :)

Sometimes, its the little things.....
When we were in Mexico, this particular crosswalk amused us every day. No matter how many times we watched it, we would laugh and say "I'm crossing the street, bitches!" When the "walk" signal starts, dude is totally strutting across the street. By the time the time runs out, he is running and if you would have witnessed John and I a couple weeks ago, we'd be still crossing the street going "come on man, hurry up!!"
It never got old. Mexico has one up on us in the area of Crosswalk signs.

Fish Face
If you've been to our house, you know that I have giant fish. If you haven't been to our house, I'm not even exaggerating, they're giant. That also means that I don't have a lot of small fish (one giant fish is OK with small fish, but the other ones tend to believe that anything that fits in the mouth is a snack) So anyway, that means I don't shop for fish very often, which I love to do. When John was in the hospital, his co-workers sent him this gorgeous vase of flowers and when I saw it, my first thought was "OMG Betta Tank!" So once the flowers were gone, I went fish shopping and the vase got turned into a lovely little sea world that lives on top of the bookstand and gives the deer candle some company. Meet its inhabitant, Bob the Betta:
