Fashion Friday

I have been looking for a cute leopard skirt forever.  I was stoked to find this little gem that was cheap ($12), comfy and cute!  It was still chilly enough to rock with leggings and boots, despite the deceptively sunny pictures.

I'm hoping to do multiple shots on my garden box to show the progress of the million seeds I planted as they start to sprout and grow with the coming of summer (and then likely die in July because I don't water them.).

For outfit flair, I added Amy's trusty necklace, a leopard scarf tied as a headband, and a last minute addition of a braid pulled through the front.  Let's zoom in on that cute red braid...

Fishes

This is my "shy" tank, a 70 gallon, heavily planted (and caved) tank with a large school of African Knives.  I adore these fish, especially in a big group like I have here. They are fairly timid (although less so in a group)   so I think you have to be a fish person to appreciate waiting for them to come out, but they are so adorable when they do I think it's worth the wait.  The tank also has a large school of small neons and zebras, and one Black Ghost Knife (you get a glimpse of the white on his tail while he swims through the background).  Oh, and a snail.

Fashion Friday

You know, I didn't have much hopes for Fashion Friday this week.  It started out wet and rainy, and I'm still protesting this by wearing jeans.  On Monday, I added my favorite heart necklace (I love John!) and glitter headband.  Note the dreary and dark morning behind me.  boo.

On Tuesday, I hoped for a spot of sun and did a brown and black combo since bright spring color will hopefully soon take over my wardrobe.  I added the animal print hat (John said "There's a cat on your head...") and killerly awesome giant necklace.  I stood by one of my "flower" patches for color.

On Thursday, the photo is not about me, but my friend Kate.  I got to work that day and she informed me that when she got ready that morning, she thought it was a good "Shannon" outfit.  Coincidentally, fellow fashionista Sarah (not available for photo) said she was wearing a "Shannon" outfit that day too! Oddly enough, I didn't feel much like myself that day, so I'm glad my friends did it for me. 

Crafty Kitties

Our kitties have a plethora of toys to keep them entertained. I try to pick the most fun toys I can imagine.  They have feathers and bells and catnip.  One even has blinking lights!  What are you looking at, Toki?

Oh, it's Pickles.  ..chasing a rogue glue stick.
