Underneath these healthy, toned bods is where you find each girl's true strength. The discipline and commitment to set a goal and keep pushing toward it results in pride and confidence and the knowledge that you friggin' earned it.

Before I put on this bra, I often wonder if it should buy me a drink first.

Sometimes I accidentally get drunk on Tuesday. Thursday I do it on purpose.

Special

I have been a teacher for a over 20 years and I have heard different success stories from students about how my class has impacted their life and it is simply the most amazing thing about being a teacher.  Since I started teaching Body Blitz, I have seen that at a more intimate level than ever before.  As the class progresses, there isn't one student who comes regularly where I do not see a change.  It's either weight loss or new muscles or overall tone or a new confidence in him/herself.  There is also the magic of the comradery and mutual respect among the class for committing to getting up very early in the morning and being on time to do a hard workout.  The commitment to their personal goals is just brilliant to witness.  Because I wanted to celebrate that with them, I decided to hold a photo shoot after this session.  I encouraged them to be more daring that they thought they would to show off their results.  To my pleasant and proud surprise, every girl who came was ready to bare her abs, arms, and shoulders for the photo.  Something else is that I set this up to be a group photo and simply offered individual shots to anyone who might want them.  Every girl did it.  This was an amazing day to celebrate a summer of hard work.  I could not be more proud.

I must have misunderstood this sign because everyone looked at me weird when I ordered.

Day 26 - dream
I have gotten the chance to perform on stage more than I would have dared to dream. I have countless memories about the practices, performances, dressing room shenanigans, ten million laughs with my BFFs and the few years where everything was covered in glitter. I never want to look back on anything in my life and say "what if" and I am proud to look back and be able to say I was a showgirl.
