NoDak and Back 2011: A beautiful surprise

We rolled out of Orofino heading south on a road we'd never been on (there aren't many in this area anymore!) and right off the bat, we saw this canoe wave. Art!

Happy day.

We zig zagged between ID and WA for a while and then road out into the unknown.

This turned out to be the road to a fun route through Rattlesnake Pass.

It was beautiful up there.



Wide open spaces, huge fields, pretty clouds...

We stopped in this tiny town to change our jacket situation and parked here. I was scared.

The scenery just kept getting better.

We weren't the only bikes out enjoying the road..
