We suited up and hit the road.
As with every day in this part of the country, we had beautiful roads, we left Joseph through the forest.
..and came out on the top with a huge vista. I swear we could have seen Portland on a clear day. We came down into Pendleton surrounded by giant wheat fields on every side.
We got to town early and were a little more tired than we thought. John took advantage of the air conditioned room and I laid by the pool all afternoon.

We came home on Sunday, after a wonderful 12 days on the road. While we relaxed and unpacked and got ready to resume our life, we were already planning our next adventure. Toki was not so sure.
