Nodak and Back 2011: Storm

Sometimes, the storms back home are devastating to the crops. It's always just a little scary. That said, when it's fairly mild it is amazing. I with these pictures had sounds and smells.... To hear the thunder roll across the valley and the rain fall for miles is amazing and the smell of the rain over the acres of greenery is indescribable. Sometimes, you jump when there's a big crack!

Sometimes it lights up the sky...

Sometimes, it's almost blinding...

and really fun after a couple beers to sit on the fence and try to capture it with your camera.
